The implications of the findings were discussed, and suggestions were made. It also demonstrated that a majority found it easy to comprehend the bisaya terms used by Madasigon. Results showed that the overwhelming majority prefered to speak in their mother tongue when interacting with the chatbot, while the rest prefered to speak in English. The review results provided a comprehensive understanding on the choice of language integrated in the Madasigon application. For the respondents of the system, the researchers handed out UTAUT questionnaires to Filipino People who mainly speak binisaya. For the application, the researchers utilized the waterfall method as their design procedure and used Alpha Testing to examine the conversational capability and the degree of consistency of the chatbot. With a thoroughly constructed and evaluated conversational flow, Madasigon is aimed towards building good rapport with target end users, which is essential in customer support service. Specifically, it allows the user to choose Cebuano or binisaya as both their formal and informal language in dealing with the application to lessen the customer's anxiety of speaking another language whenever they are not comfortable explaining details in English. This research aimed to develop a web-based application that will help customers to troubleshoot their mobile phone device issues. Finally, the thematic analysis revealed that there are six (6) factors that affected the reading comprehension of students in reading the Filipino news articles about the elections: word difficulty, familiarity with reading Filipino articles, organization of ideas, content length, current knowledge on politics, and the use of context clues. However, there was a significant difference in the reading comprehension between different religions for the article published by AsinBolo. Furthermore, the results indicate that the students were able to clearly understand the articles and that the reading comprehension between age and sex were not significantly different for both articles. The content analysis revealed that the article published by AsinBolo followed the inverted pyramid structure and used simple words in the headlines while the article published by Explained PH followed the narrative structure and often used direct and indirect quotations. The identified students were then asked to answer a questionnaire to measure their reading comprehension after reading the two articles selected students were interviewed. A total of eighty (80) students from Philippine Science High School-Ilocos Region Campus were randomly selected to read a Filipino news article about the 2022 elections published by Explained PH and AsinBolo. This study used the mixed-method approach to measure the level of reading comprehension and experiences of students in reading Filipino news articles about the 2022 elections published by youth organizations and analyze the content of the said articles. These articles inform the people about the elections and shape their opinions on the different candidates. Months before the May 2022 elections in the Philippines, many youth organizations published Filipino news articles about the presidential elections and the candidates running for different government positions. Lastly, both generations would like to maintain Filipino as the Philippine national language as it is the language that they usually use when talking to Filipinos from other provinces who also speak different Philippine languages. This shift was also reflected in the language preferences of the respondents on everyday communication. However, a language shift was seen from the common use of Cebuano by the older generation to the use of Filipino by the younger generation. They primarily use Cebuano for everyday communication and both generations primarily use English in formal communication. Data presented show that both generations consider themselves fluent in the languages of interest in this study. Two generations were investigated in this study, particularly those belonging to Generations X and Z. This study utilized mixed methods research, particularly a survey questionnaire and focus group discussions, to explore the perspectives of the respondents on the said languages. Being a linguistically diverse area, Davao is home to the emerging contact language Davao Filipino which is currently spoken by the various ethnolinguistic groups currently inhabiting the city. This paper is a pioneering study on the language use and preference of the DavaoeƱos from generations X (born in the years 1965 to 1979) and Z (born in the years 1995 to 2015) towards the Cebuano, Filipino, and English languages.
